Relative Rotation View vs. Nifty 500
Measures whether a sector is outperforming or underperforming the Nifty 500 benchmark since the start of your timeline window.
How it's calculated: Equal-weighted price performance of all stocks in the sector divided by Nifty 500 performance, scaled to 100.
Measures how fast relative strength is accelerating or decelerating over your selected lookback sessions.
Beginner Tip: The Improving quadrant (bottom-right) has X > 0, catching early momentum turns before the sector crosses above 100!
Still relatively strong vs the market, but strength is fading. Often the first stage of a rotation out of leadership.
How to read: Favor taking profits or tighter risk on long holds. Watch for a move into Lagging if momentum stays negative.
Outperforming the market and still gaining. Strongest relative trend on the map.
How to read: Preferred long / overweight zone. New stars mark recent entrants from Improving or elsewhere.
Underperforming and still losing ground. Weakest relative trend on the map.
How to read: Avoid or underweight for momentum strategies. Look for a turn into Improving before re-engaging.
Still relatively weak vs the market, but momentum has turned up — early recovery / rotation candidates.
How to read: Watch list for breakouts into Leading. Rising RS + positive Δ often flags early improvers.
Macro
Macroeconomic indicators and indices
